Building wires & cables

Building wires & cables

Overview

Building wires and cables are among the most widely used electrical products in low-voltage power distribution systems. They are mainly applied in fixed installation and mobile use for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The rated voltage level is generally 450/750V and below.

From power supply systems in buildings to the stable operation of factories and infrastructure, building wires and cables play a critical role in daily production and life. With stable demand and standardized product structures, building wire and cable manufacturing remains an essential and long-term segment of the cable industry.

CABMAC Turnkey Project Capability

CABMAC provides turnkey-oriented production solutions for building wire and cable manufacturing, covering the full scope from process planning to equipment supply and testing configuration.

Based on customer requirements, CABMAC can support:

▪ Detailed cable structure and process design

▪ Complete production equipment configuration from drawing and annealing to finished cable packaging

▪ Supply of testing equipment for routine tests, sampling tests, and type tests

▪ Matching auxiliary equipment, tooling, bobbins, and moulds

▪ Support for raw material processing compatibility

CABMAC solutions are suitable for common building wire products such as unjacketed cables for fixed wiring, sheathed cables, and flexible cables, with conductor cross-sections typically ranging from 1.5 mm² to 6 mm², as well as larger sizes depending on application.
Conductor categories include Class 1, Class 2, and Class 5, with insulation and sheath materials such as PVC, in compliance with standards including IEC 60227, IEC 60228, DIN VDE 0281, and related specifications.
