Recently, one set of CABMAC Bow Twister/Cabling Machine BT/CM-1250(1+3) was delivered to the customer’s site and is now under installation. The video shows the equipment being installed and prepared for commissioning at the customer’s workshop.
This bow twister/cabling machine is mainly used for stranding and cabling 4-core copper wire, aluminum wire and steel wire. It is suitable for cable core production in wire and cable manufacturing, supporting conductor cross-sections from 4 mm² to 120 mm², with a maximum stranded outer diameter of 45 mm.
The machine supports a twisting pitch range of 60–1500 mm, with a bow rotation speed of up to 200 rpm. The traction line speed can reach 120 m/min, and the caterpillar haul-off provides a pulling force of 2500 kg, helping ensure stable cable movement during production.
The complete line includes a passive pay-off machine, bow twister/cabling machine, incoming line platform, PLC control cabinet, operator console, central wrapping machine, crawler meter counter, guide rack, 2500 kg Caterpillar Haul-off, centering device, and PN2500 gantry type take-up machine.
During installation, CABMAC provides support according to the customer’s production layout and process requirements. The equipment can be customized based on cable structure, conductor size, take-up method, wrapping requirements, control system, and factory layout, helping customers build a more suitable cable manufacturing solution.
